I lead the Centre of Excellence for Employee Engagement, Communication and Diversity at Reliance Industries Limited. My core role at the moment is to drive Change and Transformation and help institutionalize Values and Behaviors at Reliance. Prior to this, I was at the core of Learning and Development Business Transformation journey for Reliance Industries as well as Head – HR for Shared Services in Reliance.
I have journeyed for more than two decades now , with companies such as Xerox, General Electric and Genpact prior to Reliance Industries…which is where I got my DNA of Quality, Process Excellence, Project Management, Leadership and Organizational Development with fanatic focus on Employee Engagement practices.
I am a post graduate in literature, from Punjab University and have undergone multiple professional certifications . Some of the notable ones are – PMP from PMI – US, Six Sigma in GB/BB from GE and CPLP from ASTD. I am now well on her way to getting the GPHR from SHRM as well…..
Besides Learning and Development and Talent management – I have also been closely associated with the field of Diversity for nearly 10 years, first as an active member of GE Women’s network, moving on to setting up and leading GenWin (Gender Diversity Initiative of Genpact), as a core member of WILL (Women in Leadership) forum and now on the NHRDN board for Diversity and Inclusion and helps draft out policies and practices to help corporate India.
While I have a wide rang eof personal interests from Adventure sports to Urdu poetry, I am now deeply immersed in the world of Social Media and contribute significantly to the HR body of knowledge via tweets, blogs and articles. I am also a regular speaker at several HR forums and conferences such as SHRM, NHRDN, People Matter and CLO conclave.
